As of November 25th Prestigio MultiPad PMP5080 users can upgrade their device to the new firmware version v1.0.17

The new firmware allows now 3G Modem Support, meaning that you can connect your device to Internet anytime and anywhere with a 3G Modem by a provider of your choice.

Some of other improvements that stand out include a power consumption optimization, localization improvement and improved compatibility with Adobe Flash 11.1.

Please note, in order to connect to 3g Modem you would need a separate MINI USB To USB Adapter.
