Prestigio Unveils Their First Two Windows Phone Devices

Prestigio, an international manufacturer of mobile devices, consumer electronics and accessories, will showcase its brand new MultiPhones powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS at Computex Taipei, the biggest computer exhibition in Asia and the second largest in the world.

Today Prestigio announced their first two devices which will run Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 8.1 OS. The Prestigio MultiPhones 8400 DUO and 8500 DUO embrace the best hardware engineering of Prestigio and the most advanced Windows Phone 8.1 features. Both phones include Live Tiles, Office, Skype, One Drive, Xbox services and a lot more new mobile device management features introduced by Microsoft. Microsoft's Corporate Vice President of device partnerships, Nick Parker, highlighted the MultiPhone 8500 DUO on stage at Computex Taipei 2014 as part of the latest Windows family of devices.

Prestigio MultiPhones 8400 DUO and 8500 DUO include a lot of useful innovations including Quad core processors, 8MP cameras and IPS displays, allowing users to take and enjoy viewing high quality images on the go. Dual SIM capabilities enable personal and work calls to come to two different numbers on one phone without additional hardware, making it easier for users to manage their busy lives.

Windows Phone 8.1 devices include features such as Live Tiles that surface information important to you; Action Center, which show new activities and notifications at a glance; and Senses, a suite of features that takes the work out of managing data use, storage space and battery life. Windows Phone 8.1 also makes it easier for IT professionals to manage devices and for professionals to connect to essential business apps and services with features such as simplified device enrollment, a built-in mobile device management client, S/MIME for encrypted mail and VPN support.

The Prestigio MultiPhone 8500 DUO is equipped with a Gorilla glass protected 5.0’’ IPS display (720x1280) and a quad core CPU 1.2 GHz with 1 GB RAM for seamless multitasking. The front camera is of 2 MP for a better quality of conference calls and a rear camera can also boast the highest image definition with 8 MP and auto focus.

Dual SIM helps you to enjoy and take advantage of different price tariffs for calls and 3G internet or use the first SIM for business and the second for your private life.

The MultiPhone 8500 DUO will be available for sale in July 2014 at a price of 235 USD.

The Prestigio MultiPhone 8400 DUO features a crystal clear 4.0" IPS display (480x800), a powerful quad core CPU 1.2 GHz, 0.3 MP front camera and 8 MP advanced rear camera with auto focus, fast internet connection, Dual SIM and the latest Windows phone features built-in.

The MultiPhone 8400 DUO is scheduled to be available for sale in August 2014 at an outstanding price of 115 USD.

Both smartphones show an exquisite body available in black and white.
