Prestigio presented Hi-Tech products with unique art design in Bulgaria

On 26.02.2008 Prestigio Technologies presented its art collection in the presence of VIP audience. The event is a part of Prestigio Technologies’ initiatives that will take place in Europe and Bulgaria is the first country. 130 people – journalists, hi-life guests and managers had the chance to experience themselves the motto of the company: “The Art of Hi-Tech”.

The hi-tech products from Prestigio’s fashion product line look like real bijoux: compact external HDDs with up to 250 GB capacity and high speed USB 2.0 port; unique leather digital wallet with up to 100 GB capacity hat you can use not only for keeping your money and business cards, but at the same time having with you all your files and data, thanks to the hard drive inside; limited collection of leather flash drives in impressive colours: golden, pink, red, king blue – all from real leather and with finest look. Special amazement excited the Geo Edition USB flash drives in black or white leather.

The Art collection was presented in a very classy art atmosphere. Prestigio guests had the chance to have live experience of Body Art. A famous painter - Mircho Mirchev - recreated parts of Picasso’s drawings on a model’s body, which provoked a lot of journalists to stand under his aerograph. Ladies were attracted by the opportunity to try grease-paint by Gena Jivkova – famous make-up artist in Bulgaria. Some of the caricatures from Prestigio’s traditional contests were displayed in a small exhibition. The guests of the event had the chance to enjoy a fire dance and the expression of theatre mimes art. Prestigio is a company that follows its special policy to relate hi-tech with art.

Designing all the products as art masterpieces, the company has a lot of initiatives that provoke and support talented people all over the world. In connection with this policy since 2004 Prestigio hold every year 4 international contests where photographers, painters and designers from all over the world express their talents. All previous collections, created by participants in Prestigio contests, can be seen on http://art.prestigio.com. The latest announced contest is for caricatures. It uses the motto “Take the funny way” and will receive works till the 1st of April.

On Tuesday’s event the company awarded the winners from the “Prestigio New Year Greetings” contest, where a Bulgarian work and its author Radost Vouleva took the Grand Prix.

The presented Hi-Tech products with unique fashion design evoked journalists interest as a stylish way to show that Art and Hi-Tech have no limits.
