Prestigio Technologies Ltd. has announced the introduction of a new line-up of trendy portable DVD players designed specifically for mobile entertainment enthusiasts.

The new product line is represented by three portable DVD players which enable consumers to take the high quality entertainment experience virtually everywhere -- from home to the office, to the car, to the beach, or even camping.

The new Prestigio DVD players are available in three different sizes catering to versatile needs of mobile consumers. All the models sport a thin-profile, 16:9 widescreen TFT LCD panel designed in ‘flip-up’ format so that the screen is more protected from scratching, knocks and bangs when not in use. When in use, the players boast of anti-shock protection, ideal for bumpy car journeys.

The smallest PPDP370 model features a highly compact 7-inch screen, the medium-sized PPDP585 uses a handy 8.5-inch screen, whilst the “senior” PPDP710 model with its large-format 10-inch screen provides dramatic video images that defy the compact size of the player.

The units are capable of playing DVD +R/-R/RW, CD-R/RW, and support DVD-Video, Audio CD, Kodak Picture CD media formats. So they can be used not only as a portable cinema but a mobile jukebox too for all-round entertainment possibilities.

Highly enjoyable sound is delivered by the built-in 1.5W stereo speakers enhanced by Dolby Digital decoder, but for more personal entertainment the headphone jack can be used. With a built-in card reader, video and audio outputs, as well as the inclusion of a USB port you can plug in a multitude of external devices. The multilingual on-screen menu provides for easy navigation.

The new Prestigio DVD players are supplied as standard with a rechargeable battery which offers up to 3 hours battery life, as well as with a power adapter, and a 12V car adapter, handy for keeping children entertained on long journeys or if you come across unexpected delays such as traffic jams. The package also includes a remote control, an audio/video cable, a car case, a manual, and an installation CD.
